ADMISSION GUIDANCE

Admission Procedure

Companies wishing to enter the JMAA are kindly requested to ask a JMAA member for the application or to apply directly to the JMAA secretariat. You will receive required documents such as application forms, etc, sent directly from the secretariat. After filling up the required items, please submit the documents to the JMAA. You will receive an admission decision notification after the JMAA board of directors' deliberations. The membership shall be comprised of regular and supporting members, with only the regular members acting as JMAA staff members under the Act on General Incorporated Associations and General Incorporated Foundations. The regular members are "juridical and private persons engaged in a manufacturing business of machine tools and equipment" and the supporting members are "the persons who approve the objectives of the JMAA and are willing to cooperate in its undertakings." As to which committee or sectional meeting of the JMAA organization the newly admitted regular member belongs to the procedure required will be completed after the admission decision.

Membership Fee Standard

Basic fee and supplementary fee make up the total annual fee, and a quarter of an annual fee amount shall be paid at the beginning of the term.

	(1) Basic Fee (Monthly Amount)
	a）Uniform fixed amount basic fee	\27,000
	b）Basic fee allotted by capital	\3,000 - \30,000
	c）Basic fee allotted by full time employee	\20 - \200 / person
	(2) Supplementary Fee (Monthly Amount)	\3,000 - \198,000

Note

	-	Basic fees allotted by capital amount are standardized into 5 categories ranging form \30 million to \10 billlion.
	-	Basic fee allotted by full time employee is calculated by multiplying the number of full time employees directly engaged in the production of product categories of machine tools and equipment by a standard unit price of \200/person-month, multiplied or divided by a factor corresponding to the number of full time emplpyees and to the production amount of the machine tools and equipment.
	-	Supplementary Fee is \3,000/month as a standard monthly amount for the calculation basis, and is calculated taking into account the results of the previous year's production of the machine tools and equipment. The standard amount count 26 categories ranging form less than \100 million to more than \18 billion depending on the production results.
